In the the class session where we participated in the leadership and management diagnostic, we took a battery of questions that showed us our strengths and weaknesses. It showed us what type of leader we are at that current moment according to the diagnostic test. There were four types of leaders that we could have been.
1. D - Diplomatic
2. S - Strength
3. I - Influence
4. C - conscientious
I was the conscientious one.
I believe that this test is a good demonstrator of our types of personality, as I have always been conscious to circumstances to others, sometimes to my own detriment. If I were to be different than the conscientious type, I would prefer to be a leader with Influence because a leader with influential owner is conscientious, as well as a strong and diplomatic leader. This was the second option that deferred to me.
I guess the that this shows me that I can resolve problems without forceful ultimatums that can destroy or at the very least grow resentment within a working environment. As far as helping me in other circumstances, I hope so but I highly doubt it. I have always known that I have been c conscious type.

Most of the class were D-Diplomatic, it's interesting to see that you were one the C's. More interestingly, is the fact that your second choice is I, which is what I ended up being. I don't really believe in these sorts of tests anyways, so I don't know how much we can make up of the results of this particular experiment.
I know what you mean. I was also a High C, high I type personality which rings true for me at work but doesnt hold too much weight in my home and social life where I am very influential and dominant but what self respecting mom isnt. I think that the test accurately describes one element of our personality but it loses touch with the entire picture that is more in touch with the true. At the end of the day, I can see myself being all of the DISC types but at different types of the day. I believe some would define that at Schizophrenic!!
